Last Revised: 07/22/2025
- Purpose
Wifinity, LLC (“Wifinity”) is committed to providing reliable, high-quality fixed wireless broadband Internet access to our customers. This Network Management Policy (“Policy”) describes how we manage our network and provide services in accordance with applicable laws and best practices.
Our goal is to ensure:
- An open and neutral Internet experience.
- Fair and efficient use of network resources.
- Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Network Practices
2.1 Congestion Management
Wifinity does not actively manage congestion under normal operating conditions. However, as a fixed wireless provider, network resources are shared among subscribers, and performance may vary based on:
- Total demand in a coverage area.
- Environmental factors (e.g., weather, foliage).
- Network maintenance or upgrades.
If congestion occurs, Wifinity may take reasonable steps to relieve it, such as:
- Prioritizing emergency communications.
- Temporarily adjusting traffic flow to maintain overall network integrity.
We do not block, throttle, or prioritize lawful Internet traffic except as necessary for network management or public safety.
2.2 Application-Specific Practices
Wifinity does not block or restrict the use of specific applications or services unless required by law or to protect the network against security threats (e.g., denial-of-service attacks, malware).
2.3 Device Attachment Rules
Customers may attach any lawful, compatible devices to our network. However, devices must:
- Be compliant with FCC regulations.
- Not harm our network or other users’ service.
We may disconnect devices that cause network harm or violate this Policy.
2.4 Security Measures
To safeguard our network and subscribers, Wifinity employs industry-standard security measures including:
- Monitoring for malicious traffic (e.g., botnets, spam).
- Limiting inbound port access to prevent unsolicited attacks.
- Employing firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
These measures are not intended to inspect or monitor user content.
